About The Position

This position involves serving as a Firefighter with Paramedic or AEMT qualifications. The role operates on a schedule of 48 hours on and 96 hours off, within a 24-day cycle. The department is the Fire Department.

Requirements

• Graduation from High School or equivalent.
• Must possess a current, valid Driver's License, and have a good driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug testing.
• Will consider Paramedics/AEMTS without Firefighter certifications, must be currently certified to test.
• NREMT must be obtained before test date of October 10, 2026
• Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Paramedic certification
• Preferred Firefighter 1, Firefighter II Certification
• Certifications from other states will be considered as the Utah Fire Service Certification System offers reciprocity to certifications from other states as long as it has either an IFSAC seal or a Pro Board certificate.
