Responsibilities

Develop fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layouts, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and related design tasks.
Produce supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
Assist in selecting appropriate equipment and methods for system designs.
Analyze building plans, project specifications, and building types to identify design requirements.
Confirm the hazard and other design criteria required for the design.
Perform hydraulic analyses and technical calculations needed to complete designs.
Use best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
Lead and teach the adoption of software platforms and tools.
