About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join its growing team in San Antonio. The role involves conducting accurate on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems, designing new systems from the ground up, performing hydraulic calculations, and running and checking stocklists. The position requires knowledge of NFPA 13 and experience with HydraCAD and submittal procedures to authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).

Requirements

Competent working knowledge of NFPA 13.
At least 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD.
Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ.
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening.
MVR checks are required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

5 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD.
Experience with fire pump design.
Experience with standpipes.
Experience with storage design.
NICET Level 2 in Water-Based Systems Layout.
RME-G.

Responsibilities
