About The Position
The Fire Safety Officer will help maintain the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates, and assets. A key responsibility of this role is monitoring and responding to the hotel's fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring any alerts are handled quickly and in accordance with established emergency procedures. This job is all about how you react—or just as importantly, don’t react—in a crisis. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potentially dangerous situations, identifying them, and managing them with professionalism, sound judgment, and in accordance with our policies.
Requirements
- Passionate about safety and security with similar work experience
- Experience in safety and security operations
- Team player
- Detail oriented
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Nice To Haves
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or industry-related certifications
