About The Position

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Fire & Safety – Helper II on a full-time permanent basis on their HSSE team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK. Requirements

Grade XII including Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Math/Algebra 30 is required. If the candidate is missing one of these three classes, the application will be accepted provided the missing class is completed within a prescribed period.
The successful candidate must be willing and capable of climbing stairs, ladders and working at heights.
There will be an expectation to wear approved respiratory equipment and enter confined spaces as well.
Must comply with the safety sensitive employment conditions in accordance with CRC policies.

Nice To Haves

Good working knowledge plus experience in the general maintenance of Fire & Safety equipment, emergency response procedures and firefighting tactics & techniques would be considered an asset.
A good working knowledge of refinery operations and practices would also be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

To efficiently carry out duties involving activities of the Fire & Safety Section under the general direction of the Safety Inspector Supervisor.
Other duties as required.
