The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is currently seeking career driven individuals who are committed to providing a memorable experience to our guests. Our award winning hotel is a full service property, offering 173 guest rooms along with over 30,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. Housed within the Oasis, you will find Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar, featuring Springfield’s only ice bar. Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred
Must be highly organized and possess an eye for detail
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and be able to work calmly in a fast paced environment.
Must have a positive and professional upbeat personality with a desire to deliver extreme customer service to our guests.
This position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant/hostess experience in an upscale casual dining facility.

Responsibilities

Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Assists guests to their table and presents menu.
Communicates products and services available at the hotel and convention center.
Keeps in constant communication with servers to ensure all tables are greeting in a timely manner.
Monitors the dining room and keeps an accurate account of clean/seated/dirty tables.
Assists servers with bussing and resetting tables.
Keeps in contact with Restaurant Manager/Server Lead with regards to business demands.
Maintains current knowledge of specials and features.
Assist Servers with guests needs throughout the dining experience, as needed.
Keeps the restaurant clean and organized.
