About The Position

Maintains all equipment and the ice surface, and ensures facility safety for employees and patrons. This is a Part Time position requiring weekday mornings (as early as 4:00 AM) and occasional weekends. The role involves performing general maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of ice resurfacing equipment.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Mechanically ability
• Knowledgeable about equipment maintenance and repairs
• Knowledgeable in gauging ice depth, flooding technique, use of wash water, and initiating maintenance
• Ice resurfacing experience and ice maintenance experience
• Proficient ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience in facility maintenance and operations is preferred
• Experience in Chiller equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks at facility, including preventative maintenance
• Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance of ice resurfacer and edger
• Practice safe operating techniques for blade changes, driving, resurfacing, handling, and inspection of machines
• Accurately record all ice and equipment maintenance and readings daily
• Responsible for completing daily and weekly reports for ice maintenance and facility maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe facility at all times
• Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately
• Practice excellent customer service
• Any other duties as assigned
