About The Position
Everguard Fire Safety is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join their growing team. Requirements
- 2+ years of fire alarm service or inspection experience
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and professionally with customers on active sites
- Great documentation habits and a customer‑focused approach
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to participate in overtime and remote-site work (with premium pay!)
Nice To Haves
- Electronics or Fire Protection Technology education
- CFAA certification or provincial fire alarm permits
- Manufacturer approved training (e.g. Siemens, Autocall, Simplex, Edwards and Notifier)
- Experience with major fire alarm systems
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test systems according to the Saskatchewan Fire Code
- Diagnose and repair system faults, panels, devices, and circuits
- Install, program, repair, and commission fire alarm components
- Document deficiencies and complete reports using digital tools
- Read and interpret schematics and specifications
- Support and mentor junior technicians
- Participate in on-call rotation (with premium pay)
