Mindrift is recruiting native Finnish speakers living in New York City for a paid, in-person research study in Midtown Manhattan. The study explores how people use phones, apps, and other everyday digital tools, and how those practices vary across languages and cultures. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team, demonstrate how they use their phones and favorite apps in daily life, share examples of everyday phone activity they choose to include, and complete a short questionnaire about their habits. Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form that explains what is involved. Participants may ask questions at any point and stop whenever they like. The study is scheduled for three consecutive days, either Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday, starting October 16 on Friday. Compensation is $1,200–$1,600 for the full study. To apply, register on Mindrift and complete a short screening questionnaire; shortlisted participants will be notified of their session dates.
