About The Position

CCL Label is seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor to lead its second-shift finishing team on a 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday. The role leads daily operations within the finishing department and ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards. It provides hands-on supervision, coaching, and operational support to production employees while partnering with management and cross-functional teams to meet productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing, printing, converting, or production experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of production operations and processes.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong communication, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Results-driven mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong customer-service orientation and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in related finishing or manufacturing processes.
• Printing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and department performance.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Coordinate staffing, training, workflow priorities, and resource allocation.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, downtime, waste, and operational performance.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
