About The Position

The Finishing Repair Associate restores surfaces and corrects imperfections so boats leave Tiara Yachts with a flawless finish. The role involves inspecting parts, surfaces, and assemblies for finish flaws or damage; performing repairs using sanding, filling, and buffing techniques; and working with gelcoat, putty, paint, and other finishing materials. Associates use tools such as buffers, sanders, and spray guns, blend repairs into surrounding areas, and coordinate with quality and production teams to prioritize repair needs. The position also requires maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety standards.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high personal standard for quality.
• Experience with finishing tools such as sanders, buffers, or sprayers.
• Ability to recognize and repair surface defects with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with working around chemicals, dust, and paint or gelcoat materials.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in marine, automotive, woodworking, or body shop environments.
