Finisher
About The Position
Greiner Industries is seeking a Finisher to perform final preparation, touch-up, cleaning, and quality checks on completed enclosures. The role ensures products meet customer specifications and Greiner's quality standards. Tasks include paint and caulk touch-ups, installing floor protection, inspecting hardware and labels, cleaning electrical cabinets, reinstalling electrical panels and covers, and making sure enclosures are clean, complete, and ready for the next production stage or shipment. The Finisher supports product quality, safety, presentation, and efficient department workflow.
Responsibilities
- Complete paint and caulk touch-ups to meet quality standards.
- Install Ram Board or other designated floor protection.
- Wipe down and sweep enclosures to remove dust, debris, and contaminants.
- Inspect hardware, screws, and bolts; install missing hardware and tighten loose fasteners as needed.
- Clean electrical cabinets and reinstall panels and covers.
- Inspect enclosures for missing labels and install labels as needed.
- Identify finishing defects and report issues requiring additional work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; properly store tools, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to complete enclosure-specific finishing requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
