About The Position
The Finisher performs marine finishing operations, including laying out and installing electronics, plumbing, seats, and related components. The role works under general supervision and follows established procedures while using some independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices. The position may involve working both indoors and outdoors in conditions that include extreme heat or humidity, intermittent extreme noise, dust, fumes, smoke or gases, solvents, and slippery or uneven surfaces.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Safety-conscious approach to work.
- Understanding of SDS documentation for chemicals used in production.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 59 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, walking, standing, kneeling, and stretching.
- Ability to meet the listed visual and hearing requirements, including distinguishing basic colors and shades of color; hearing aids are permitted.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring, plumbing, electronics, seats, and consoles using a variety of hand tools.
- Assist with picking, moving, and setting up vessels using lifting and towing equipment.
- Maintain tools and clean the department and cart before the end of each shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
