About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build to print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. They provide customers with leading-edge support from prototype to production. As a Finisher 1, you will deburr, sand, and clean parts with simple to intermediate complexity on various materials such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper, following direction from the area Lead or Supervisor. This role involves utilizing shop paper procedures, including updates, signatures, stamps, quantity counts, labeling, and handling non-conformance activities. You will also ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders and operate a variety of pneumatic or electric power finishing tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous finishing experience up to two years
Responsibilities
- Deburr, sand and clean parts on repeat or proven part(s) with simple to intermediate complexity on a various material such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper with direction from area Lead or Supervisor.
- Utilize shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities.
- Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders.
- Operate a variety of pneumatic or electric power finishing tools such but not limited to orbital sander, DA Sander, flappers and die grinders.
