About The Position

Novae is seeking a detail-oriented and committed Finisher to join their team. This role involves hands-on work to prepare trailers for delivery, ensuring they are clean, fully functional, and visually appealing. Finish team members take pride in their work, contributing to the quality of trailers that are used across the country. The position is in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety, dependability, and outstanding service are paramount. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred or other equivalent and relevant demonstrated skills and experience.
  • Able to work 10 hour shifts with potential overtime.
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination with the ability to safely lift up to 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to read and interpret work orders.
  • Must be able to maintain safety while working effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE for the position, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, face shield, steel toe footwear, knee pads, gloves.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • Frequently lift and/or move items over 80 pounds.
  • Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal safety by using designated PPE and tools, complying with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
  • Operate all power tools and machinery on the assembly line effectively.
  • Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets.
  • Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup.
  • Axle, wire, deck, and inspect trailers.
  • Connect lights and test electrical components.
  • Place stickers and decals on the trailer.
  • Mount tires to prepare the trailer for transport.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties as needed.
