Haakon Industries, a global leader in custom-designed and manufactured HVAC units, is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Finisher in the Finishing Department. This team is responsible for preparing air handling units for shipment to customers, ensuring that all components are installed, tested, and secured for safe transport.

Responsibilities

Engage in demanding physical tasks to support production activities
Stand, walk, crawl, lift, and carry heavy items as required to support production
Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes
Use measuring tools to perform mathematical calculations, including converting fractions to decimals, to ensure precision
Operate air and electric tools efficiently to complete tasks effectively
Work comfortably from heights and ladders to perform necessary duties
Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
Use overhead cranes to load units onto trucks and transport materials safely
Conduct unit pressure testing, deflection testing, flow testing, and leak and sound tests to ensure quality
Install door seals, viewports, handles, and other components to prepare units for shipment
Wrap HVAC units in protective plastic to prepare them for shipping
