About The Position
As a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you provide outstanding customer service in the Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex, creating welcoming, comfortable, and valued shopping experiences. You use knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and luxury brands to educate customers and help them select products suited to their tastes, preferences, and budgets. The role emphasizes consultative selling, genuine hospitality, active use of clienteling tools, and building lasting customer relationships. You work toward sales goals while promoting loyalty and warranty programs, supporting inventory and fulfillment activities, and contributing to special events. You help ensure merchandise security, accuracy, and presentation, and collaborate with the team to support sales and operational excellence. Daily work includes preparing the sales floor, learning about merchandise and promotions, engaging customers, processing and replenishing stock, updating signs and pricing, supporting merchandise moves, and sharing loyalty program benefits. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules include weekend shifts and depend on business needs and colleague availability. Requirements
- 1–2 years of related experience.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to provide product recommendations and assist with fittings and digital shopping tools.
- Ability to use point-of-sale technology and digital tools effectively.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including talking, lifting, moving, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, knowledgeable, and personalized service to customers in the Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex.
- Use product knowledge about precious metals, gemstones, and luxury brands to educate customers and recommend suitable items.
- Build lasting customer relationships through consultative selling, hospitality, and use of clienteling tools and programs.
- Meet sales goals, including client and protection plan goals, and acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and explaining loyalty benefits.
- Promote loyalty and warranty programs, offers, product launches, and special events.
- Use point-of-sale technology and digital shopping tools to support transactions and improve the shopping experience.
- Support inventory, fulfillment, processing, storage, organization, replenishment, and merchandise moves.
- Maintain accurate pricing and signs and ensure merchandise is secure, accurately presented, and shoppable.
- Participate in vendor training, events, ongoing training, and merchandise education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support customers, sales goals, and operational excellence.
