About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Landscape Maintenance team! Candidates should have a passion for working in the outdoors, a positive attitude and desire to learn. Previous knowledge of landscape equipment, gardening tools and plant knowledge a plus but not required! Applicants must be able to work independently as well as with a team, and take direction from the crew leader. They will be responsible to execute and accomplish tasks in a safe and professional manner adhering to the directions and instructions of the Crew Leader. They will work outside, in various residential and commercial gardens.

Requirements

• Strong sense of aesthetics, color and balance within fine gardening
• Ability to obtain a DOT, with an insurable driving record, and operate ¾ ton trucks
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push fully loaded wheel barrels
• Arrive prepared with adequate tools, supplies and clothing

Nice To Haves

• Previous knowledge of landscape equipment, gardening tools and plant knowledge
• Love of outdoors and creativity

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of woody, perennial and annual plants
• Container planting and maintenance
• Ensure that all equipment, in vehicles, is secured properly during transport
• Report any accidents or safety violations to Crew Leader immediately
• Be available for snow removal in any capacity necessary
• Additional duties as assigned
