About The Position
The Financial Team Lead supports the Agency’s financial operations by overseeing accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining compliance, and supporting internal controls. This role assists with payment processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit preparation, and month-end and year-end close activities while partnering with finance, billing, and operational teams to maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 3+ years in accounting or finance, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of financial system
Responsibilities
- Lead daily financial operations, including A/P, A/R, and payroll.
- Supervise, train, and mentor finance staff.
- Review reconciliations and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Assist Finance Director with audits and reporting.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
