About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America is a developmental position focused on obtaining necessary Securities Industry licenses and building foundational advisory skills. The program includes dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, you will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide advice and solutions. The role begins in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions. Successful progression leads to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy provides ongoing support, programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for mortgage originations, requiring federal registry submission and background checks. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination. Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • 63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66.
