About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining necessary securities industry licenses and developing foundational advisory skills. Upon obtaining licenses such as SIE, Series 7, and Series 66, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess complex financial situations, and provide guidance and solutions. The role involves working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions, with opportunities for progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and other roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Requirements

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
  • Open availability required, including some Saturdays.
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check and registration process.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • 63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66.
