About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role is an entry-level position focused on obtaining Securities Industry licenses and developing foundational advisory skills. The program includes dedicated training for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Upon licensing, individuals will learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess financial needs, and provide advice and solutions. The role progresses through stages, with initial work in a financial center, followed by potential advancement to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II to grow and deepen client relationships. The Academy provides ongoing support through dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • 63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66.

  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions in a financial center.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews/presentations.
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners.
  • Connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients (as FSA Stage II).
