The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training to obtain securities industry licenses, including the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the employee learns foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; evaluating clients’ financial situations; and providing advice and solutions. After meeting key milestones, the employee begins working in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. Successful FSA I employees typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships with a client portfolio and may pursue other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is based in the Northridge, California market. The specific financial center location will be determined by business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, as permitted by law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, first shift, 40 hours per week. Compensation is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, with offers based on experience, education, and skill set; compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The position is benefits eligible.
