About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training to obtain the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses; Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66. After licensing, the advisor develops foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding clients’ financial circumstances, and recommending advice and solutions. After reaching key development milestones, the advisor works in a financial center helping deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships with a client portfolio, with further career opportunities at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides training, programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. The employee must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing; failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is based at the Schaumburg Financial Center and follows an in-office culture. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required, on first shift, for 40 hours per week.
