As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you begin by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, you learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; considering clients’ complex financial pictures; and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, you work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions and client care. Training, coaching, tools, and resources support development throughout the role. Successful licensed Financial Solutions Advisors Stage I typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing their skills and relationships within a client portfolio. Stage II advisors may pursue further opportunities at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration with the federal registry system, maintaining good standing, and completing a background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The position is open across the market; the specific financial center will be determined by business needs. Training takes place at one financial center, and work may initially be phone-based until another center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, as permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, with 40 hours per week on first shift. The listed pay range is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, with offers based on experience, education, and skill set. Compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible.
