The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins with dedicated training and personalized classes to obtain the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ financial circumstances, and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key development milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. The role includes training, study time, coaching, and development resources through the Academy. After demonstrating success as a licensed FSA I, the advisor typically progresses to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing skills and growing relationships within a client portfolio. Successful Stage II advisors may pursue advancement opportunities within Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration with the federal registry system and completion of the required background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is based at the Hollywood Main Financial Center and has a Monday-to-Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays, working 40 hours per week on first shift. Compensation is $28.85–$33.65 per hour, based on experience, education, and skill set; the role has base pay and is not incentive eligible.
