The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams; Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66. The advisor then learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing clients’ complex financial pictures, and guiding them with advice and solutions. Once key milestones are met, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care. The role includes structured training, coaching, and development through Bank of America’s Academy. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with opportunities to advance to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The position is open across the market, and the specific Financial Center location will be determined by business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, on first shift, for 40 hours per week.
