About The Position
Machias Savings Bank is seeking a Financial Services Specialist to join its Branch team in Brewer. The role supports customers with day-to-day banking needs, builds customer relationships, and connects customers with products and services that support their financial goals. The position includes mandatory in-person onboarding training of up to one week in Machias within the first 30 days. Future training may also require travel if retraining is needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Previous customer service or retail experience and a passion for helping others.
- Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly and solve problems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build new customer relationships and deepen existing ones through meaningful conversations and product referrals.
- Identify customer needs and refer mortgage, home equity, and other banking opportunities to appropriate team members.
