CIBC is hosting an Inclusive Meet & Greet Career event on June 23, 2026, at CIBC Square. The event will provide opportunities to network with local CIBC Leadership and learn more about Financial Services Representative and Client Service Representative roles. Candidates will be selected based on the job requirements outlined. As a Financial Services Representative, you will be part of the Personal and Business Banking team, working in a fast-paced Banking Centre. Your role will involve fostering key relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals, providing tailored service, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and potentially at multiple banking centres is required. This role requires full-time on-site presence. As a Client Service Representative, you will also be part of the Personal and Business Banking Team in a fast-paced Banking Center. You will utilize your knowledge of financial services products to assist clients with their daily banking needs, answer questions, process transactions, and connect them with the right team members. Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and potentially at multiple banking centres is required. This role also requires full-time on-site presence.

Requirements

  • Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
  • 1 year experience in working with clients and achieving sales results.
  • Ability to be on-site full-time.
  • Flexibility to work banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends.
  • Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

  • Prior banking experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Foster key relationships with clients, understand their financial and personal goals, provide informative and tailored service, and recommend the right products and solutions.
  • Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
  • Use knowledge of cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals.
  • Engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities.
  • Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and work as one team to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
  • Become a technology expert and introduce clients to mobile banking applications.
  • Help clients manage their accounts and products, focusing on the client experience.
  • Connect clients to the right CIBC team members who can help them reach their goals.
  • Listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the client’s shoes to resolve issues.
  • Take accountability for client issues and know when to collaborate with others for better solutions.
