About The Position

As a Financial Relationship Banker, you help consumer and business customers identify and achieve their financial goals. You are responsible for retaining and growing customer relationships by proactively identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. The role is based in an office branch environment and offers a welcoming, inclusive team setting where colleagues can share ideas and contribute to customers, the bank, and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales, or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
• Ability to build, deepen, and retain relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales.
• Acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, customer service, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, a new customer follow-up program, and referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
• Help customers optimize their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
