Financial Planning Analyst

About The Position

This position supports financial planning and analysis activities, primarily for the SMT business across FC1, FC2, and FC3, as well as budgeting and midterm planning processes. It also addresses headquarters requirements related to the PNO Cine and Photo FoBs. The role compares actual accounting transactions with expected results, identifies variances, and recommends potential adjustments. It requires a thorough understanding of accounting policies for planning and actual postings, along with developing and maintaining Excel models to simulate and assess adjustments as business conditions change throughout the year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related business discipline.
1–2 years of experience in a professional accounting environment, including monthly financial analysis and support for strategic business initiatives.
Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including designing and maintaining sophisticated models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision support.
Familiarity with SAP ERP systems, especially CRM and Business Warehouse modules.

Additional experience with Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

Conduct monthly analyses of budget plans versus actual financial results, identifying variances and trends and providing actionable insights to management.
Recommend updated budget figures in response to changing business activities, keeping forecasts accurate and aligned with organizational objectives.
Propose enhancements to accounting structures and processes to accommodate organizational growth and changing operational needs.
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel models for business forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support transitional business initiatives and strategic planning.
