TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice Personal Information We Collect Your Privacy Choices Team Overview The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supports TransUnion’s leadership by delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making, financial planning, and performance management. This team partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze financial performance, support forecasting and budgeting processes, and enable informed business decisions across the enterprise. Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview and Core Responsibilities This intern role is part of the International Financial Planning and Analysis team, supporting planning, forecasting, and reporting for international business units. The intern will contribute to consolidated financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive-ready presentations while gaining hands-on experience in a global finance environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of June 2028 or earlier
  • Completion of coursework in accounting, finance, financial modeling, and/or business intelligence to support analytical and reporting responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, used to evaluate financial data and identify trends or variances
  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and tell a compelling story with data for non-technical audiences
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing consolidated financial variance analyses for executive leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Support month-end close activities by helping prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial reports
  • Contribute to forecast reporting by updating forecast models, tools, and supporting documentation
  • Analyze financial performance at the consolidated level and summarize key insights for stakeholders
  • Assist in reviewing, developing, and enhancing financial presentations for leadership audiences
  • Provide functional support for forecasting, annual budgeting, capital planning, and strategic planning processes
  • Support updates and enhancements to financial forecasting tools, including OneStream
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from executive management and cross-functional teams
