About The Position
A leading law firm is seeking a Financial Markets Associate Attorney to join its Miami office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and investment funds in sophisticated financing transactions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of finance experience at a large law firm
- Experience representing lenders and borrowers in complex financing transactions required
- Ability to assume significant structuring, drafting, negotiation, and deal management responsibilities
- Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, loan documents, security agreements, and related financing documents
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Florida bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Nice To Haves
- Experience with leveraged finance, acquisition financings, asset-based lending, and syndicated lending transactions preferred
