This position is responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization. The position will use a combination of financial analysis tools and techniques as well as data analysis tools and technologies to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization. Analyze financial trends and support financial reporting and business decision-making. Lead various financial data analysis projects. Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of statistical or data analysis experience.
Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting.
General knowledge of analysis tools, SQL, and Microsoft Applications.

Nice To Haves

Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting are highly preferred.
SQL experience with the ability to independently pull and analyze data is highly preferred. Foundational SQL experience with a strong willingness to learn may also be considered.
Insurance industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and support accurate financial reporting and accrual analysis.
Identify financial trends and developments, analyze underlying drivers, and present findings to leadership.
Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems.
Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
