Role Overview: We are searching for a hands-on, resourceful, and collaborative Global Financial Controller for a highly visible role that is responsible for all aspects of Dynamo’s global accounting operations, including general ledger, tax, treasury, accounts payable, payroll, revenue recognition and the external audit process. The Controller serves as a key member of the finance team reporting to our CFO. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-driven leader to have a direct impact on the success of a dynamic, growing, global business across multiple product and service offerings. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience implementing/maintaining accounting systems and developing reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt practices, processes and techniques to changing priorities and issues and drive proactive, effective change leadership
  • Problem solving and decision-making capacity in a high growth environment
  • Efficient time management, planning, and organizational skills including demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in multiple countries
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about operational excellence
  • Strong accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experience with Intacct preferred
  • M&A experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of financial statement integrity ensuring GAAP compliant statements are accurate and produced on a timely basis
  • Oversee the consolidation of financial results and preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure a strong back-office organization
  • Actively drive efficiency through automation and streamlining accounting processes
  • Anticipate and ensure development and maintenance of robust, scalable global accounting capabilities (processes, systems, policies/procedures, organization and compliance) to support the company’s growth
  • Manage global accounting and tax operations, including all statutory requirements for subsidiaries
  • Oversee the accounting, tax and regulatory compliance and filings for domestic and international operations
  • Manage external audits
  • Oversee a team of 6-7
  • Provide accounting guidance related to proposed transactions to support due diligence, special transactions, and investment-related accounting needs
  • Build partnerships and relationships, across the organization and externally, that lead to the highest levels of collaboration and effectiveness
