The Financial Controller will oversee day-to-day Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Credit, GL, Capital Expenditure, Payroll, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Cost Accounting. This role involves preparing timely internal monthly accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Analysis) for review by the Regional and Global Accounting teams. The Controller will liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and tax computations, and oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues, including the preparation and submission of information to statutory authorities for Payroll, VAT and Corporation Tax. The position also requires providing necessary information/documentation for Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits, conducting reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities, and contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy. Maintaining a good relationship and frequent communication with Operations and Management teams is crucial, as is providing support to the District Manager, particularly during the Annual Budgeting process. The role also includes participating in the negotiation of contracts (sales and purchases) and policies.
