We are seeking a a hands-on, tech-forward Financial Controller to build and own the financial infrastructure of a scaling, multi-entity business. This is not a maintenance role; it's a build role. You'll design the chart of accounts, own the close process, and put in place the systems and controls that let us scale with confidence. We want someone who treats accounting as both a technical discipline and a systems-design problem: someone who can look at a messy process and see how to automate, simplify, and control it. We strongly prefer a CPA, both for the rigor it signals and to future-proof our finance function as we grow. We also strongly prefer candidates with prior experience in financial services, given the regulatory rigor, controls discipline, and reporting standards that industry demands. You'll be one of the architects of our financial backbone; the systems, controls, and processes you build now will directly shape how well we scale. This is a rare opportunity to build rather than inherit, with real ownership over how the company's finance function matures. Potomac is not your typical asset manager. We cut through the industry BS with brutal transparency and an obsession with execution. If you’re looking for a slow pace and low volume, this isn’t for you. If you want to drive, build, and scale, this is your shot.
