About The Position

As a Financial Center Representative Float, you support Riverview Bank’s branch network by providing consistent, professional client service and reliable operational support wherever coverage is needed. The role requires flexibility, accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to different branch teams, workflows, and client needs. You process deposits, withdrawals, payments, account requests, and other financial transactions accurately and carefully. You welcome and support clients while maintaining cash-handling, security, confidentiality, and compliance standards. You also help clients pursue financial goals through personalized guidance, trusted advice, and exceptional service, representing Riverview Bank’s mission, vision, and values in every interaction. As the role progresses, responsibilities expand to include greater independence, operational complexity, relationship-building, digital banking support, and serving as a resource to branch teams across multiple locations. The position helps maintain consistent client service, operational accuracy, and branch support throughout Riverview’s financial center network.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
0–6 months of client service experience, preferably including cash handling.
Ability to adapt quickly to different branch environments and workflows.
Comfort working in unfamiliar settings with minimal direction.
Strong client service skills and professional written and verbal communication.
Demonstrated math skills, including understanding debit and credit relationships and negotiable instruments; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail when balancing and posting transactions.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to present information in one-on-one and small-group situations.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions and developing ability to solve standardized problems involving a few concrete variables.
Basic working knowledge of company products and services and ability to promote them through verbal recommendations.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn teller software systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to use business office equipment.
Flexibility, accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Deliver welcoming, professional service across assigned branches, resolving standard inquiries and escalating non-routine issues to leadership.
Support routine banking transactions while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
Engage clients to understand basic needs and refer them to appropriate banking products and services.
Open consumer new accounts and assist with digital banking enrollment and troubleshooting.
Adapt to different branch workflows, staffing levels, and client volumes, integrating into teams with minimal direction.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer, follow security procedures, and remain alert to suspicious activity.
Prepare required reports and forms accurately and support operational needs, including vault responsibilities after meeting experience and accuracy requirements.
Use digital tools and AI to enhance work quality and client experience.
Provide personalized guidance and recommendations to help clients connect with solutions that support their financial goals.
Complete required training and apply learning to daily responsibilities.
