About The Position

The Financial Center Service Representative (FCSR) processes a variety of financial transactions, manages and balances a cash drawer, and prepares daily paperwork according to branch procedures. The role engages clients during transactions to identify needs and refer them to the platform for fulfillment, while providing an extraordinary customer experience through Spencer’s customer service behaviors. The FCSR also assists the Assistant Financial Center Manager with teller-line and end-of-day proof functions, works under general supervision, and may be asked to travel to and work at other branches in the network.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months to two years of experience in a retail sales or service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a teller window to process banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, buying and selling cash, and cashier’s checks.
Provide a consistent, extraordinary client experience by applying Spencer’s customer service behaviors.
Research and resolve transaction errors, engaging management support when needed.
Engage customers during transactions to identify needs and refer them to the platform.
Follow the bank’s compliance and operational policies and procedures.
Complete required paperwork, including CTRs and SARs, accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist the Assistant Financial Center Manager with end-of-day branch proof tasks, including ATM and vault functions.
Participate in internal and external branch events and local community events.
Work a flexible hourly schedule as requested and, when asked, travel to and work at other branches in the network.
Present a professional image.
Provide access to safe deposit boxes.
Open and/or close the branch with management.
Perform other duties as required.
