About The Position

The Financial Center Service Representative (FCSR) processes a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. The role manages and balances a cash drawer and prepares daily paperwork according to branch procedures. The FCSR engages clients during transactions to identify needs and refer them to the platform for fulfillment, while providing an extraordinary customer experience through Spencer’s customer service behaviors. The position also assists the Assistant Financial Center Manager with teller-line and end-of-day proof functions and works under general supervision.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months to two years of experience in a retail sales or service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a teller window and process banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, buying and selling cash, and cashier’s checks.
Provide a consistent extraordinary client experience by executing Spencer’s customer service behaviors.
Research and resolve transaction errors, seeking management support when needed.
Engage customers in conversation during transactions to identify needs and refer them to the platform.
Follow the bank’s compliance and operational policies and procedures.
Complete required paperwork, including CTRs and SARs, accurately and promptly.
Assist the Assistant Financial Center Manager with end-of-day branch proof tasks, including ATM and vault tasks.
Participate in internal and external branch events and local community events.
Work a flexible hourly schedule as requested.
Travel to and work at other branches in the network when asked.
Present a professional image.
Provide access to safe deposit boxes.
Open and/or close the branch with management.
Perform other duties as required.
