About The Position

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial information to provide recommendations, creating and monitoring corporate budgets, and preparing budgetary information for executives and department managers. This role involves evaluating and performing financial reviews for branch profit and loss, providing guidance to branch managers on improving profitability, and offering direction to Division Managers regarding financial matters related to transitioning new branches and terminating existing ones. The analyst will use discretion and independent judgment to guide branch managers toward successful financial branch status and provide financial insight to management to ensure stability in budgets and profit and loss accounts.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of work experience with emphasis in financial analysis/budgeting
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Advanced Excel skills
Extraordinary attention to detail
Ability to work and to deliver content under tight deadlines
Aptitude to work independently
Capability to multitask
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
Must be able to utilize a computer
Must be able to maintain a work schedule
Must be able to effectively perform in an office setting
Must comply with and adhere to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
Prior mortgage industry experience
Excellent writing and editing skills

Responsibilities

Review and analyze financial information to provide recommendations
