About The Position

GPS Insight is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This role will serve as a cross-functional business partner, focusing on high-impact analytical initiatives such as pricing, cost optimization, vendor spend, revenue assurance, and board-level reporting. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem-solver who can identify and fix the root causes of issues. This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, and will work closely with the VP of Finance, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and business leaders across the brands.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and a track record of digging into problems.
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial systems; experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • A structured, resourceful approach to open-ended problems - able to take an ambiguous question, break it down, and work it to a clear answer.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify root causes rather than treat symptoms.
  • Ability to work independently and translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and taking ownership of loosely defined problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and present to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct FP&A experience is a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to Claude CoWork, Power BI, Salesforce, or HubSpot is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial modeling and forecasting support, contributing to financial models, forecasting, and month-end variance analysis, while continuously improving underlying processes.
  • Prepare and maintain board and investor reporting packages, including supporting analysis and commentary for key financial and operational metrics.
  • Ensure revenue is billed, recognized, and collected completely and accurately; identify and investigate revenue leakage; and partner with Revenue Operations and Accounting to close gaps.
  • Identify, quantify, and help drive cost-reduction opportunities across the business, building business cases and tracking realized savings.
  • Own vendor spend management through Spendhound, tracking spend, contracts, and renewals; surfacing consolidation and savings opportunities; and managing the renewal calendar to prevent auto-renewal leakage.
  • Diagnose underlying drivers of financial and operational issues and drive durable fixes.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional initiatives as priorities evolve.
