About The Position

The Financial Analyst supports the Corporate Finance and Accounting team with responsibility for financial planning, reporting and analysis. This includes budgeting/forecasting, month-end variance analysis, and decision support/business opportunity analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
• 3-5 years business finance or other relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills along with strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Results must be oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of product cost accounting and non-standard analysis is desired but not required.
• Systems application experience on X3 and Power BI, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial support, management reports and analysis to the management team to assist is assigned decision making.
• Generates monthly financial variance analysis.
• Coordinate with accounting, business partners on financial, cost and accounting issues.
• Identifies and recommends solutions to problems.
• Supports the management team in the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly financial forecasts by providing data, analysis, and recommendations.
• Perform and hoc reporting and analysis.
• Prepare all necessary journal entries for the month end close.
