About The Position

The Financial Analyst supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across programs and contracts. This role ensures timely, accurate financial information to support decision-making and builds foundational FP&A skills in a mission-driven environment. This is an entry-to-early career role within FP&C, focused on data, reporting, and analysis support. The role provides leverage to the Finance Manager and exposure to budgeting and contract financial management. The Analyst reports to the Finance Manager. This role offers the opportunity to build strong financial planning skills while supporting programs that have a direct impact in the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience or strong internship experience
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Interest in nonprofit or mission-driven work preferred
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Maintain budget tracking tools and monitor contract performance
  • Support development of budgets for proposals, renewals, and modifications
  • Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers
  • Pull, validate, and organize financial data from systems
  • Support forecasting and financial planning processes
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment with actuals
