About The Position

The Financial Analyst will manage accounts receivables, focusing on collections, invoicing, payment tracking, aging reports, and account reconciliation. This role involves responding to and resolving customer financial inquiries, reviewing and reconciling various financial accounts, and monitoring project financial activity. The analyst will utilize financial software, collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, prepare month-end reports, manage sales tax filings, and assist with closing activities and audits. Maintaining accurate financial records and identifying financial issues are key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing accounts receivables, collections, invoicing, payment tracking, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
  • Ability to respond to and resolve customer financial inquiries.
  • Experience in reviewing and reconciling financial accounts (customer, vendor, bank).
  • Proficiency in monitoring project financial activity (revenue, expenses, labor, billing, job costs).
  • Experience with financial and operational software programs.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Project Management, Billing, field teams).
  • Experience in preparing month-end reports, sales accruals, reconciliations, and variance reports.
  • Experience in managing and filing sales tax in multiple states.
  • Experience assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Skills in identifying financial issues and recommending resolutions.
  • Experience assisting with audits and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivables, focusing on collections, invoicing, payment tracking, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
  • Respond to and resolve customer financial inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances, credits, and billing discrepancies.
  • Review and reconcile customer, vendor, bank, and other financial accounts.
  • Monitor project financial activity, including revenue, expenses, labor, billing, and job costs.
  • Utilize applicable financial and operational software programs to review and manage project and job-related financial information.
  • Work with Operations, Project Management, Billing, and field teams to resolve financial and project-related discrepancies.
  • Prepare month-end reports, sales accruals, reconciliations, and variance reports.
  • Manage and file sales tax in multiple states.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Identify financial issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by both the CFO and VP, USA.
