About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analysis and reporting functions, including analyzing, reporting, and leveraging data. The Financial Analyst works collaboratively with the Accounting Manager and the Finance teams to effectively monitor and analyze credit union data to present trends, information, and solutions to key stakeholders. Essential Job Functions: Focus on Purpose: Focused on the credit union's purpose of creating financial wellness in our community through everyday banking, emphasizing data analysis and reporting to assist management in making educated decisions. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and all other necessary teams in all discussions relevant to data gathering, analysis, and reporting needs. Safety and Soundness: Monitor the safety and soundness of the credit union through data gathering, reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, federal and state laws, rules, and regulations. Research and Analysis: Conducts research, performs testing and validation of data sets, and compiles data into comprehensive analyses. Summarizes data and findings into a format that is understandable to varying audiences. Prepares moderately complex spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and reports for management as needed. Core Process, Policy, and Procedures: Responsible for adhering to all accounting procedures, processes, and procedures, including policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or commensurate professional experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment of financial institutions
