Role Purpose: The Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and analytical support to drive operational performance and informed decision-making across the business. Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, this role leads key management reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities, and performance analysis, partnering closely with operations and functional leaders to identify risks and opportunities, improve profitability, and support execution of strategic priorities. This position ensures the timely delivery of accurate financial results, including variance analysis and KPI reporting, and supports month-end close processes, internal controls, and audit readiness. The Finance Manager plays a key role in enhancing forecasting accuracy, strengthening working capital and cash flow visibility, and improving finance processes and tools in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. Position Summary: Budget Modelling & Preparedness (Primary Initial Focus) Development of a VCM (Variable Contribution Model), operating pattern model and other cohesive enterprise-wide budgetary model for the upcoming 2027 Budget (AOP) Business Partner to Operations Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for operations management. Managing daily reports, weekly flash, monthly forecasts and AOP while providing guidance on best practices, read across, and risks/opportunities. Prepare and perform analysis on cost and efficiencies, labor and overhead, scrap, inventory and overhead allocations. Meticulously track margin integrity to a part-by-part level. FP&A / Cost Accounting Support Bridge walk activities in a consistent methodology among all plants. Springboard walk analysis in Monthly Business Reviews with Executive Leadership team. Ensure forecast/actual accuracy and timing of plant financials. Manage BOM’s and routings with plants including Standard cost development and adherence. Facilitate engineering change control within the process. Report and give guidance on material and freight variances with purchasing performance and economic impacts.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Deep, hands-on ownership of a VCM development, model, and process is mandatory.
  • Direct experience with Tier 1 automotive Finance organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with bridge reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience as a primary contact with operations leaders is highly desirable.
  • Strong familiarity with the finance lifecycle and experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills are essential.
  • Unwavering attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to process discipline.
  • Highly analytical and accountable professional with a deep understanding of corporate finance fundamentals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.

Nice To Haves

  • CFM (Certified Finance Manager) or CPA designation is a significant plus.
