About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate the financial activities, transactions, summary data, and trends of the Divisions within the Practice as compared to Budget, as well as factors that may materially impact the financial status of the Practice. This position will also take the analysis of such data and translate it into understandable, factual, defendable information to be used for decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business administration, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and macros), as well as Access and Word.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and present recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) - Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) - upon hire - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and consolidates completed budget templates and supplemental schedules and conducts actual versus budget trending analysis. Routinely assesses the functionality of current report/templates and identifies opportunities to improve the formats. Assures ongoing communication with Administrative Directors and Business Managers, so that future needs can be anticipated.
  • Performs financial analysis and research in support of the preparation and administration of operating revenue & expenditure projections and quarterly variance analyses. Reviews data results for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Assists in the completion of faculty productivity and compensation plan documents and reviews various salary surveys on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintains institutional development records in the database and prepares and distributes monthly PDF expense reports.
  • Prepares externally requested ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required. All reports / analysis should include a full synopsis of findings, points of excellence, areas of improvement, and recommendations.
  • Responsible for completing the monthly outreach charge and volume trending data and graphs.
