About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical financial analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, supporting accurate accounting operations and informed business decisions. As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for a range of business activities and will respond to ad hoc requests by providing professional, data-driven and actionable analyses.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
3-5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Maximo ... )
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

CPA or CPA-eligible preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analyses
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), reports and dashboards to bring insightful actionable data and support management decisions
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
Support internal and external audits, including documentation and audit requests
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
