Financial Analyst II
About The Position
The Financial Analyst II collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data to track progress toward financial goals. The role prepares reports and financial models and supports forecasting and planning to inform decision-making and align activities with organizational objectives. It analyzes financial information for assigned programs, products, or business units and prepares reporting packages that provide quality data and actionable insights. The position operates with intermediate knowledge in its discipline, solves a range of straightforward problems using standard procedures, and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial information for assigned programs, products, or business units to track progress toward financial goals.
- Prepare reports on current and projected financial performance and develop financial models to guide decision-making.
- Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments, and recommend improvements or adjustments to financial procedures, plans, and controls.
- Prepare financial reporting packages, ensuring data quality and actionable insights.
- Support forecasting and planning activities to align with organizational goals.
